The clouds call me to me.

This weekend was the unleashing of a months work, I had spent the last month planning and arranging a surprise birthday for my lovely girlfriend, I had invited her friends and picked the venue etc.
She had a lobster with candles in for her cake (She loves sea food) and we all had an amazing time, even if I was stressed and over heated (was a VERY hot weekend in London, more so in a suit)  I still enjoyed and even relished in the challenge of making it all work.

It also reminded me just how much I like having adventures, more tales to tell my kids, so now I'm trying more than ever to start crafting the money I'll require to fund such a lifestyle!

I've got as much ready myself and even paierd with other artist's to create a more dynamic online store, I'm just waiting for the website, seems even if I've shaken the bad flea from the last attempt something is preventing me from getting this moving, and the amount I am trying to get in contact with the new coder it might seem almost like I'm very demanding, but I'm not, I just want to get everything finally launched and the products available online where they belong.

This week I'm going to Try my hardest to get SOME progress with the online store, I refuse to give up and I refuse to let up until I get some progress, this my dear readers may come across strong but believe me, in business you can only rely on other parties for so long, sometimes you got to grab the bull by the horns, snap them off and shove them deeply into the bulls ass.

Some point this week, as a treat IF I can achieve the Website progress, I will be having a camping adventure, maybe even by myself, so I can get some time to myself and evaluate some of life's aspects.

I'm hoping the weather remains as it is, if so I'm sure it will be a great and welcome break.

As I mentioned Earlier, I've been promoting products and collaborating with other artists, the Offical Rocket punch blog can be found > HERE <

The biggest problem was when I headed to the London MCM Expo, it seems people just do not care about copyright rights for the products they sell, so many people selling other companies logo's and designs without prior permission.

I was half contemplating on doing the same, I would make a lot of money, but after a lot of thought, I'm going to stick with my morals and company integrity. I may want to make profit, thats the main goal of most buisness's but I want to preserve my morals, I want to provide a quality product without stepping on those games and Tv shows that actually provide the initial interest and clientèle.

My products are more of a silent nod towards them, not a copy.
I felt I needed to air this, as some people might wonder why, with a market saturated by people ripping each other off why I'm not following suit.

You might agree with me, or think it's foolish to sacrifice income for base morals, but that is just how it is.

It all started with my first ever print, I wanted to test the quality of the heat press and the quality and finish of the industrial heat transfer paper, the finish was amazing, and thus was my first T-shirt ever printed.

You might remember seeing this a long time ago on the blog, I was just thinking about how far I've come, I could be very established by now if not for the whole website fiasco, but I learned an important lesson, leave  professional jobs to a professional.

I'm thinking of Framing this T-Shirt, it was the first in line, and lead the way in the direction I'm still following today even with all the issues and hurdles I've had to jump.

Recently I've started learning Traditional Mahjong, and I'm not going to lie to you, I'm still not 100% with all the scoring patterns as it is quite complex where scores can even go into the millions if you have not set a score limit.

What I will say is that it is VERY addictive.

Now I don't mean Mahjong solitaire, that is the most common mistake, that is a 1 player game, nothing like mahjong and calling it is the same as calling snap poker because it uses cards.

Anyway I won't rabble on too much about it as I'm certain its not everyone's idea of a fun game.
Where am I going with this?

Not sure... I'll move on!

That feeling of vastness, the open road and the uncertainty. All these things are for me the signs of a great adventure.

If I had to say what one thing makes me feel adventurous it would be the big billowing clouds on a hot and sunny day, where the clouds themselves look like snow topped peaks on the horizon, for me that is the loudest call to the adventure for me.

Have a great day readers!!

Something a little... Different.

So it's been a long time since I last posted, and for once this was deliberate.
I had come to a point where I thought I had nothing more to say, and instead of just feeding you forced information I thought I'd take a leave from the blog until I had something to say again.

Well It occurred to me that maybe this blog could be aimed at not just healthy living and life changes. I have parted a lot of my wisdom but it is not infinite.

I realised that recently I've been learning a lot of other aspects of life, not just improvement but things like integration to environments and how to be efficient, and while i don't claim for a second that you the readers do not know most of what I've discovered I will however, like usual, impart this knowledge in the hope  that you might learn at least one thing.
Since writing this blog I've always wanted to reach out and if only 1 person has learnt only one thing from this entire blog then it has still been as successful as I'd had hoped.

Time to unleash a couple of new topic headers!! Designed to help with the difficult economy we are facing today.

There are thousands of ways to save cash, but I feel that the most important of them all seems so horribly obvious that it needs re-addressing.

Kikojui Cash Saver rule #1

LEARN TO MONITOR YOUR INCOME VS YOUR EXPENDITURES!!

You're probably shouting at the monitor right now, saying "WE KNOW" well you would be very surprised at how many people do not realise the power of this technique.

Now, to illustrate this easier, I'll tell you how to do this in a simple way, I'll make an example.
-----------------------------------------------------
(Example) INCOME PER MONTH:

Wages: £700 (after TAX)

Money owed by friend £50

Total: £750
-----------------------------------------------------
(Example) EXPENDITURES:

Rent: £500

Bills: £50

Food: £50

New Clothing / Treats: £50

Meals Out (Takeaway / restaurant): £100
--------------------------------------------------

Total Spent £750

--------------------------------------------------

Money Saved that month £0.00

Sometimes we think to ourselves where did that money go? I thought I had more.

It's the little expenditures where we spend money without thinking about it's impact on the total money earned.  Those few takeaways, or packs of cigarettes (you shouldn't smoke anyway :p) and little treats all cost money and all build up.

Looking at this list, we could say if we only cut back on 50% of the takeaways and meals out you'd be saving £50 a month, that's a massive £600 pounds Saved a year, from one small cut back!!
Stop buying new clothing / treats each month and make it every other month and you'd save another £300.
Pushing the total Yearly saved amount to £900 Saved.

Kikojui Cash Saver rule #2

Save money each month, no matter how small!

Some people have the mindset that it's ok to spend all of your wages just before the month is over because they will soon have money again.
And while this is in fact true it is unwise to assume you might not have a need for a reserve amount of money in case of emergency.

Many things in life can and do pop up, causing a strain on a months wages, be it medical bills, insurance, tax's, bill increases or even quarterly bills, things that are not factored into a normal months wages.

So to be prepared for these events it is ALWAYS wise to have money in reserve that would not be touched unless needed, and if you managed to have a large excess of this money you could use it towards a holiday or other luxuries you might desire.

Kikojui Cash Saver rule #3

Make your money work FOR you!!

Spending money is nice, BUT instead of spending all of you're money you should try to at least INVEST some of your leftover money, be it in stocks and shares or just buying commodities like gold or land that don't really change much in value.

A little well placed investment can double your money or better, so it might be nice to buy that £1000 suit you always wanted but it would feel a lot better if you earned £2000 from a £500 investment. You would be getting that suit from money that your leftover money generated.

Now with all things nothing is certain with stocks and shares, gold's value changes from time to time but it's a safer way to tie up some spare money.
Gambling is not really investing, something worth remembering.

So be wise with the money you have left over and try and make that little money work for you!

I'm currently in the process of working out the mechanics of making our new flat (I move around September time) more economical in the electricity department, and also maximize the available space.

I turned my attention towards our friends in Japan, more so in Tokyo where space in the housing there is very limited indeed! I'll be posting my findings as I discover them.

First thing I've been thinking about is a wall bed for the bedroom, the bed would effectively be stored away during the day using minimal space, this a very effective way to re-gaining the lost space a bed would normally take up while providing storage space with the shelving etc

Ever been on your way back from shopping, and you have some carrier bags and they are cutting your hands off and uncomfortable?

Small but effective fix, take a small object with you (pen knife / pocket metal torch / something cylindrical and small) And when you're carrying plastic bags from a supermarket (I'd suggest bags for life personally as they are stronger and have multiple uses) use the object under the bags handles to save them from cutting into your hand, the longer the object the more bags you can comfortably hold!!

That's all for today's post, no idea if people need to know this information but I like to think somone out there will get some use from this.

Have a great day you beautiful, beautiful readers!!

Skip to the end for useful bits...

Today has been uneventful, I need to get my sleep pattern on track and sort through work that needs finishing and more importantly, prioritise what needs doing.

I awoke very late today, couldn't sleep and finally got to sleep at around 5am, too many things rattling around my head.
There has been very little in the terms of life development today, spent most of the day thinking about what my available actions are, what I can and cannot do, and in hindsight been stressing on how one decision has caused me to waste so much time, but ultimately, regardless of decisions past made, I have to look forward.

It's easy to get bogged down in what you could or should have done in the past, but the only way to achieve any results is to look forwards, I guess in some ways I'm lucky, because no matter what happens with the buisness here, it is transferable to where ever I move to which is looking to be London.
And while I might not have the buisness up and running just yet, I can do so in London as well as have a pool of work for some side cash to help propel the business where it needs to be as well as work on the new projects.

Lucky I still have these to keep bolstering my happiness, I think today only seems so extreme as a result of forgetting to take some in the morning after food.

I don't have much time for games any more, not digital ones anyway, but I promised myself that today I would focus on cheering myself up, because no matter what I do, if I'm not in the right mental state, then I'll make mistakes and not be as effective as I know I can be, So tonight I will play a few games.
  • Titan Quest
  • BattleField 2
  • Monster hunter Tri
  • Stepmania
  • Minecraft

This will be my list I'll play from, as well as maybe watching a film also.

So until I stop feeling like this:
I'll try my hardest to get back on track for tomorrows update, my apologies, anyway... I need to have some reason for you to read this so here it is:

A 9 week plan to get ANYONE up to speed with running!
Running provides an amazing cardiovascular workout and will shed weight at pronominal speeds, but for some the idea of running might seem daunting so here is a foolproof plan to getting you up to speed gradually over 9 weeks, after 9 weeks you will be able to run for 30 minutes solid!

This is a 9 week program to helping ANYONE with cardiovascular exercises, in this case running.
If you follow this plan you will be up and running solid at a strong level in 9 weeks no matter what your fitness level.

Ok, that is all I can provide for today, I need to go shift this mood, thanks for reading!! peace!

A Vacant Mess.

Got a sub project under way, I want to pour out the details, but much like my buisness, I hope to get the concept solid enough to market and as a result cannot mention much here.

I can mention that this is a boardgame, and I can mention that nothing like this has been made before, why? well I think it's because making something like this is very complex but after a long day of brainstorming with people we have a system that will simplify everything while giving depth, fun and most importantly, unlike most boardgames, will reward the player.

This will be known as "Project Burst" from here onwards.

Parts of Project "Asphalt Wave" are on hold still, and the same for the business, I'm not happy about it but I cannot do anything about this just yet, but might have to make serious backup measures.

I'll talk about more of Burst when I get more to reveal.

Was cooked Won ton soup today, stuffed chicken and spring onion won tons in a mix of my chicken stock and my new mushroom stock, complete with noodles, it was a delicious soup and reminded me why Chinese soups are amazing!
They contain a lot of water, this hydrates you and fills you up all at once, the stocks taste amazing and its a cost effective way to use a old chicken carcass, just put what is left into boiling water (bones and everything) into a pan and boil away for a few hours, drain through a sieve and store the fluid, easy.

Also a great bonus of this is that you can make a soup base, freeze it in a big batch and then defrost and add ingredients (meat, veg, noodles) to the dish and you have a cost effective , healthy meal that's quick to make.

Friends come and go in life, some longer than others, but at some point in life we have all be faced with a common dilemma.
You have a friend, and other people tell you things about this person that you never see, things that might be out of character.
Well as a friend you should initially dismiss these things as hearsay or at least look for evidence, but there is nothing worse than discovering what people have been telling you is true, you lose face and in turn have not believed the people that warned you.

I believe in life we have to just make judgements for ourselves, if somebody is worth sharing your time with then you should do just that, I guess what I'm trying to say is that sometimes, our friends are not always the people we want them to be, or think they should be.
To be a true friend you have to learn to accept their flaws as much as they accept your own, if not then it's best parting ways.

Do I speak from experience?
Not really, I've build a good rapport with my friends and believe that I know their strengths and weaknesses., sometimes it's hard to accept elements, sometimes it's not.

Yesterday I took a visit onto Wii Fit, not my idea of a gym but it can be a fun way to preform some menial exercises.
Firstly it was rude to me about my weight, but I had anticipated this from the Christmas binge.

So it got me thinking, what time of day do people prefer to exercise?
For me, back when I had a Gym membership I used to love hitting the gym for around midday.
It seems mid day wast the quietest time of the gym, I had free roam of equipment and didn't have to wait to use any equipment.

If I run I prefer to run at night, around 10pm, because the town is empty and again I have a free roam, maybe it's just me being unsociable, but when I exercise I want to do just that, for me its not a time for socialising.

My Weight bench is in my room / office, and it gives me the chance to drop some reps whenever I get free time, also have a standing punch tower for when I feel that's needed also.

Since I've got plenty of weight to convert into muscle I've started a process called Cutting, its when you have the bulk to convert into muscle you then beginning to cut, by cutting you eat less calories and eat less in general but maintaining a high protein diet, this way you protect your muscle development, you will however lose a little muscle mass, nothing you can do about it but the gains will far outweigh it.

So for me this means more fluidly foods, and better hydration.
Soups, lean steak, chicken, eggs, spinich, broccoli etc.

I found a really nice recipie for people looking for high protein that looked tasty, low calories and above all good for you:

It is basically a baked, stuffed chicken, and it looks tasty, I'm going to try this recipe in a few days but I'm going to upgrade it with some egg white and broccoli!!

Tettix is a Chiptune artist that I'm currently enjoying, coming with a similar sound of anamanaguchi who recently got famous for doing the OST of scott pilgrim.

Anyway that is all for today!

Good luck with your own personal health goals and see you tomorrow beautiful readers!!

Product review / Overlook of the blogs past!

Today I'm writing a review on this product!

Well more specifically-

This one.

So I'm walking through a supermarket, a little tired and I noted this on the shelf (good work on the packaging for catching my eye) Firstly I was caught because I always pick up on nice design, good, well placed font, nice colour schemes on the flavours and simple but informative labelling.

I picked up the White tea, Ginseng, cherry and Acai berry flavour, mostly because I wanted the green tea one but it has pomegranates in it and they make me unhappy (taste foul in my opinion).
Anyway The bottle is cute, its a nice size, a little pricey at £1.89 in morrisons, but that is about the same price as the neuro drinks I reviewed a while back.
Each bottle is 330ml. so about the standard can size plus a little, so not much for your money either.

Well on the drive back home I decided to try this drink, now I don't endorse drinking a beverage while driving but I have a lot of experience in doing this safely, so I got the passenger to open it, and fist thing they noticed was the lid, on top of the lid it says "Drink to your health" a nice touch, showing that care has gone into the production of this product.
The drink smells amazing, fruity and with that after smell of tea, so with that I took a sip, it was smooth but light, fruity but subtle, not something I was expecting, I thought it would be sweet and have a strong cherry taste like most drinks with cherry do.
Great tasting, great smelling and pretty packaging, my only regret was the  meagre size of the drink, This drink on ice would be a perfect way to rehydrate in the evening.
The drink "little miracles" is touted as an organic energy drink, and whilst I'd agree its a delicious, refreshing and invigorating drink it is only a "little" miracle.
If you can afford to foot the above average price tag for a top tier health drink then I completely recommend it to anyone!

Now because in this world I think you often pay for what you get, this applies here too, a fantastic drink, and even if its scraping below £2 it really is worth it for the benefits you will receive, a light perk in energy and the antioxidant benefits of tea and ginseng, if this was blueberry flavour it would me my ultimate purchasable drink!!

Taste: 9  Smell: 9  Texture: 10  *total* 28/30  (BONUS HEALTH: 8/10) *Bonus total* 8/10

The products website can be found >HERE< (will open in a new window)

It's Monday, and most people dislike it, because its the start of a new week and the end of the weekend.
The weekend for most can be a time of indulgence and relaxation, so maybe why not do some indulging during the week?!

For me, personally, I like to fill a bath half full, add candles and bath cream to help change the smell to something exotic, then I'll put the shower on and sit in the bath with the shower aimed onto me, it's the closest thing your going to get to sitting under a waterfall and I find it helpful because of one main reason.
It shuts up my brain, yup 24/7 I'm thinking about something and as a result sometimes I find it hard to relax and shut down, being under constant water causes that weird watery noise, almost like rain that drowns out the thoughts of the day and replaces them with inner silence, maybe this is why some martial arts choose to meditate under waterfalls!

Anyway I'm asking you, if you can (you need a shower mounted into the bath on a rail or whatever) to try it out!

Also I'd like to hear about how you, the readers like to relax and try out  a few for myself.

It's been a long time since the first post, and since then we have had a massive amount of changes to layout, new sections and a lot of different titles!

I thought that I'd post up all the titles we have had to date, so that we can see the evolution of the design and feel of the blog, it's just me being sentimental.

1. The original Blog title, Kikojui, Evolution saga, I was thinking it would be a good idea to blog about my journey of transformation, and after coming with a scheme and colour style I decided on the logo, I wanted clouds and something resembling health, so we have this waterfall falling into clouds, weird concept really.
2. After the blog being up for 100 days I thought I'd commemorate this feat, by making the first logo change, well in this case an addition.

3.This was the transitional idea, saying it was evolving as we hit stage 2, it was like this for a few days and probably did not get noticed much, it was more for my metaphor of metamorphosis and ascetics than anything else.
4. Title 4, is the second phase logo, it was not just a logo transition as the background changed to match the new multicolour overlay, it was a nice change and a burst of energy added to the blog that was now starting to pick up.

5. This was again an addition much like number 2, to commemorate having reached 1000 pageviews, this for me made me happy as at least 800 of them had to be from external sources, and it meant I was getting exposure and more importantly, giving information people could come back to.
6. This was the introduction of kira and stage 3, a female friend and blogger who wanted to help add posts aimed at a more female audience specializing in fashion it was an exciting time!
7. A few posts later this design (3.1) and background change appeared, this was largely due to the new posts relating to fashion and those of health, signifying a change in blog approach.
 8. The last logo, was designed to explode from the background much like how our posting frequency was exploding, using a parrallex layer it would seem like the background had a hole in it.

9. After some events, both me and Kira where unable to really keep our commitment to posting not only daily but at all, so for a extended period of time there was nothing.
Then I got into a position to re-start this blog, and try to revive it, so it was only appropriate that we changed the background and logo again, this time saying what I wanted to say to everyone "I'm back!"
And I most certainly am!

A little trip down memory lane for some, and for others an insight that this blog will, much like its topics, keep evolving until I can say that the main project is complete, I want to thank each and every person that views this blog, and even if a tiny amount actually post responses I know from the views a few of you might have learnt something or just indulged into some posts by a young man trying to make a change of his life, thank you very much indeed!

That is all for today, one last thanks, you beautiful, beautiful readers!

Stage 4 - Episode 1: GEAR SECOND!

I'm BACK!!! It's been a long time, as a matter of fact, too long. Since the shift to Stage 3.1 there has been little activity online for multiple reasons, but what you should know is I'm back! Not just back, but better, I have started better time management so I can get back to daily posting, but something I noticed from my other (some what less serious blog) http://winds-of-fate.blogspot.com/ that it has a total of 30 something posts, and yet has double the views. It occurred to me that this blog, as highly informative as it is, was also too heavy, too much content with little entertainment, so During this Stage 4.0 I will be mixing information with general entertainment. If it fails I'll revert back to pure information in Version 4.5 or 5.0 depending what I reach first.

So the two new sections are:

Training will cover actual exercises, since I've only loosely covered it, I started with covering the mentality and the foundations to getting a successful routine for healthy living, but I'd like to talk about the actual training people might do, I'm not suggesting I'm going to have all the answers here as daily I'm learning new things myself, so this section will be just analysing and discussing what I'm doing and how helpful I'm finding it.

So, Christmas is over, and people are starting resolutions, if you've not made one or are interested I personally think the generic "losing weight" resolution should be avoided.
Being healthy, fitter and stronger should always be something we strive toward, I think personally resolutions should focus on your weakness in other fields and try to strengthen yourself as a person.

For example, someone might suggest to give up chocolate or alcohol, but without addressing the reasons why you do these things in the first place you will find it very difficult to stop them.

How can you do this?
Well firstly look at what resolution you wanted to make, think, WHY are you making this resolution, what effect do you get from this.
Secondly look at the cause of you already doing this action that you want to resolve.

For example, Jo wants to stop lose weight and be fitter.
He is over weight, and when he thinks about it the reason he wants to diet is to attract a partner. (easy to understand when you look at how the media bombards us with how it thinks people should look)
So what causes his unhealthy lifestyle?
After thinking about it he eats too much, and not good food at that. also his job means he is expending little energy.

==========================================
CAUSE: Bad diet - Lack of exercise.
EFFECT: less attractive / low confidence.
==========================================
FIX: Good diet - Exercise.
EFFECT: more attractive / confident.
==========================================

Now this example might seem straight forward, but without looking into the cause and effect, he could have come to the conclusion that he needed to quit say, chocolate, or go running once a week, which frankly would have little effect.

This can be applied to any aspect in life, I suppose I should have said from the start that all you needed to do was critically analyse your life's aspects, and you will find out the source of the problem, and also the solution.

Another quick example, somebody wants to stop drinking alcohol, but just stops without looking into their problem, in this case the persons looks to alcohol as a de-stressing therapy, as soon as that person gets stressed they will find the temptation of drinking hard to bare.
Had they addressed the issues that cause them to be stressed and how to better deal with stress, they would find quitting a lot easier.

When you are training, if you have any 1 song that will kick you into shape and make you work harder what is it? For me it's this!

It's not much of a post for today, more of a recap and introduction to the 2 new sections.

Until tomorrow, good luck you beautiful, beautiful readers!!

Day 195: The 48 day break... STAGE 3 ACTIVATED!!

So it's really been 48 days since my last post, that is an incredible amount of time! So I'm guessing after falling off the face of the earth you might have a few questions as to just where I've been.

During August I have 2 events to attend, they are large scale and basically where I get to hook up with some old friends, also this year I got to sell my products at the first event, I was optimistic that my designs met the criteria but not so optimistic with the people that attend as they tend to spend all their money on other wares, so keeping this in mind I made T-shirts sold at a reduced price £10 (normally sell at £15-18) in the hope that I would actually shift stock.

Turns out I managed to sell everything I took, this is great news and helps me focus on building the business as I know the products sell.

Now I've only just got back from all the events and sorted out my sleep pattern etc.
I will admit I've eaten terribly, but worked out when I can, so not much change in weight.

ANYWAY time to talk about the changes going on here.

So after all this negative eating and living in general it is time to cleanse, and not only that, step everything up a level. That's right, time for level 3!!

Level three is just a increase of exercise, regular eating of low saturated fats etc. Also while doing this making sure to pass any knowledge to anyone who will listen.

Stage 3 also includes not only an increase in my own life adjustments, but in a pledge to keep the viewers up to date with life changes I've drafted in a personal friend to post for the female readers!

KIRA has made big changes in her life, having lost a lot of weight through diet and also being a fashion expert she will provide the female readers with the vital weapons of knowledge to get the most out of your lives! While I just tackle general subjects and things male related, this means something else, EXTRA CONTENT! She will be posting as close to daily as well so you have twice as much to look forward to each day!!

We will be covering a lot more subjects, things like the bedroom and relationships (we are not experts but there are some common issues that we can advise about).

So I'd like to welcome you all back, back to evolving!!!

Day ???

Since this is a weekend post I'm going to call this Bonus content.

Anyway I've been away to Birmingham for the last time (I only have got to go back for a single day in a week or two) and then since I arrived home I'd not been feeling too well.

A little back story behind being ill, I don't get ill.
Sounds strange but in all my years I've only been bed ridden maybe 3 times, each from tonsillitis.
This time I've been feeling under the weather, feeling tired, irritable and mostly run down.
Today I woke up, feeling nauseous and tired as well as a sore throat and a slight cough, added with all my joints aching led me to believe I have seasonal Flu.

Big deal, it sucks but I learned from a young age, for me personally I have to be active to get better. So I took a walk and eventually a nap when I was feeling very bad, but after a long hot bath and some food I feel ok again!

Anyway being tired and the such is the reason I found it difficult to try and post the last few days, and to apologize I thought I'd share some personal information.
No real reason but I juts feel like opening up a little, which for me is hard indeed.

The thing I love the most:
Friendship, I value most in this world is friendship and the ability to understand people. For me I have always believed that the biggest problem in this world is not the frequent inhumane acts we see on the news or even the people starving while others can waste, I personally think, if you took it all down to its most basic level, its the lack of understanding.
Slavery was an act where no effort was made to try and understand. People never saw a slave and thought, I wonder what his life is like, and what could make it better.
Wars with religion are all based on a lack of understanding, understanding that we can co-exist and that the wars that are raged are not in honour of their gods, but in honour of our own primitive desire of destruction and violence.
It is often hard to see a view that contradicts your own, and having the gift to analyse and see things from both sides will save a lot of bother in your life.
I saw a video of some young men beating to death two tramps in a forest (its on a news site I visit) and it was horrific, this all started because the tramps had eaten their cats.
Now instead of stepping back and thinking why did they eat the cats, the automatic reaction was to become enraged and eventually murderers.
I bet those tramps did not grow up wanting to become cat eating tramps, and I certainly do not think the cats were killed for fun, they were killed for food, what you have here are 2 outcasts of society fending in the wild eating whatever they can to stay alive.
What those people needed was compassion and understanding, maybe even empathy, rehabilitation and a chance to live their lives as valuable citizens, and perhaps not to be murdered.
As long as a bad society stays bad, their will always be homeless people, so really all the homeless people become are a by-product of a bad system, a system which I think needs changing.

A stubborn person is hard to argue with, I know this as I have a stubborn farther, the problem is that in their mind there is only one answer, and its the answer that they have concluded on one sided evidence.
Here is a personal moment for you, when I was a young kid, maybe 10-12 I got into some trouble with some older kids who were bullying me and a friend, back then I was tiny and weak and to be honest frightened.
I remember this well as it was the first and last time I came home and opened up to my dad about it, hoping that he would talk to them or at least solve the problem.
I told him, and we went back to the playground, the two boys were there, and my farther got out the car and is an intimidating guy for a young kid, anyway he asked them just what had happened, finally I thought, this will be over.
Anyway he came back to me and told me we were going home and that I lied to him, apparently I had called one of the boys (who wore glasses) four eyes.
Total lie, but they were older and for some reason he believed them over me, since that day I've never relied on my farther for support, maybe when the car breaks down I'll call him, but that's because I have no idea about cars, but in life, if I have a problem I go to my mother.
I know your thinking that perhaps I'm painting him in a bad light, this is not true. Regardless of flaws parents are parents.
I just wanted to explain, we have always had a stormy relationship, I've always done the things that are opposites to him, drawing at a young age, liking video games, and not having an interest in sport like he always had, so I can see how it might have been hard for him to relate to me.
That one moment, that one time... it's funny how some things really stay with you, and from then onwards I always thought I'd have to live life my own way, and rely on nobody but myself to get things done.
I'd be interested in hearing defining moments of your life, readers?

Things I fear most:
Top of the list, is death.
For me death is a big issue, since I'm not really religious and only very partly Buddhist I find great difficulty in following something I do not believe in.
This is were I might get all philosophical and spiritual.
Uurrgh I'm blabbering, let me get to the point, I actually wish I could believe a religion, the reason is I'm terrified by death. Religion gives you the comfort of thinking that their is more, I personally think when we die that it is it, the end.
Reincarnation makes little sense to me, because if the population constantly expands, how can they all be resurrected souls? so for example say there are 400 people and the next year there are 700 people where did 300 souls come from? you could argue from animals etc, but if they keep populating then it still makes no sense.
Anyway, death seems so absolute! an infinity of nothingness, not even thought.
For me this fear came from college, when we were playing the game where you breath in and let people push on your chest, causing you to faint briefly.
I don't remember it happening, I remember waking up, and firstly thinking that when we die, we won't know, and from there on we cease to exist. for me a very scary thought.
If I had a religion to cling to, that notion of absoluteness would be a lot more easier to swallow.

Favourite food:
The problem for me is I've always been a person that flutters between foods, liking something one week, disliking it the next.
I suppose the one constant, the one thing I'll always eat, would be ice cream.

Weird eating habits:
I have to have a little of every element on each fork, so for example if it is a fry up, I'll have a bit of bacon, sausage, egg, hash brown, toast and beans on each fork load.
I have to have a drink with every meal.
I have tomato ketchup on macaroni and cheese.

My worst trait: Jealousy
This only applies to relationships, After a few bad relationships and being used a few times I have developed a were notion that everything that can go wrong will go wrong.
I get jealous when people get to spend time with my friends and girlfriends if I'm stuck alone at home or something, I suppose my problem is not jealousy, it's loneliness.

I get lonely very easy, spending most my time home, alone, gives me more than enough time with myself, and I find myself tedious and argumentative with myself, if that makes any sense. always over analysing and arguing to myself, contradicting and thinking constantly.

Fun facts:

It took me 3 years to tell a girl I loved her.

I have a scar on my forehead (very small) that was the catalyst for me losing 5-6 years worth of memories.
(You can read more about it all here: http://mastersfinalmemory.blogspot.com/ its my personal blog during my Masters final piece.)

I once ate 6 litres of ice cream in one sitting.

I once had a pet cricket called rambo, who lived 4 times longer than it should have.

I failed my fireman training test paper twice (mathematics paper) maths is officially my weak point. But passed the fitness exam while having the flu, a guy who worked at a gym failed.

During my first year or two in my flat, I slept in a bare room with an air bed, now my room is completely crammed full.

I'm struggling to find more things to talk about, so This is your chance readers, I PROMISE to answer any 1 question per person, no matter HOW personal.
So go for it, ask away!

Peace readers I hope this has in some way been a remotely interesting read.
